If you’re in Victoria, you can get 20% back on your rego, which works out to around $186 per vehicle on average.
From what it looks like, this is a rebate.. so even if you’ve already paid your rego, you should still be able to claim it back (as long as it’s within the eligible period).
It runs from 1 June to 31 July 2026, and is limited to 2 light vehicles per person (under 4.5 tonnes). Covers the usual stuff like cars, 4WDs, utes, vans, motorcycles and light trucks, as long as it’s registered in your name. It applies to rego for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
You’ll need to apply for it through the Service Victoria app or website once it opens.
