See this email from KITKAT today, and it’s definitely raising some eyebrows.
They’re upgrading the factory to make the snap even crispier. Sounds great, right? But here’s the kicker. As part of these upgrades, they’re adjusting the mould, which means the bars are getting smaller. Your 45g KITKAT is now going to be 42g.
Now, call me curious, but this feels a bit coincidental. Like, is this really all about the snap, or is there something else at play here? KITKAT shrinkflation, anyone? Or maybe it’s just a harmless tweak for better quality.
