Woolworths announced they’re closing the MyDeal website by the end of September 2025. Kinda wild considering they only bought it about three years ago.
Looks like they’re doing this to cut losses and focus more on their other online stuff like Big W Market and Everyday Market. Apparently, they’re still keeping the tech and the seller relationships, but the MyDeal site itself is going.
This comes not long after Catch.com.au announced they’re closing too. Aussie online marketplaces are really dropping off lately.
If you’ve bought anything from MyDeal, probably a good time to check your orders and save whatever you need before it disappears.
