Holy, just went onto the Cashrewards website and this came up, wtf? They’re actually done. From 12pm on the 8th of September they’ve pulled all offers from the site, app and notifier. I’ve used CR for years, stacked it with gift cards and those little bonus promos, and honestly it feels weird seeing it just vanish like this.
They’re saying recent transactions will still track for the next few days, and anything pending as of the 11th of September will get approved so you can withdraw. You’ve got until the 24th of October to pull your money out, and if you don’t, apparently they’ll automatically send it to your linked bank or PayPal (though PayPal only works up until the 24th too). After that date it becomes a manual process where you’ve gotta contact support, and everything needs to be wrapped up by mid-December. Gift cards in the wallet also disappear from the site on the 24th of October, so they’re telling people to download them while they can.
I’m honestly shocked. CR was such a staple. Now it’s just another casualty of the big guys, I guess. If you’ve got anything pending, might be worth logging in sooner rather than later because I have a feeling support will be slammed. What a crappy way for it to end.
