Sharing a deal hack that I pulled off today. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Headset has been on my radar for a while, RRP $735, which is too much. Willing to part with $450 but it just never got there with any retailer. Until today.
EB Games have it on sale for $485 this week, which on its own is a pretty awesome deal. I took that to JB Hifi and got them to match the price, which they happily did. They couldn’t beat it as it was below their cost (or so they say). Note, Officeworks sell this so they could beat it by 5%.
The kicker here is the timely combination of the ‘Spend over $300 and get $30 off’ coupon at JB Hifi, and the 10% off TCN Him gift cards from Woolies which can be used at JB Hifi.
The final price after the price match and coupon was $455. Paid with $500 worth of TCN Him gift cards which I got for $450, and I’m left with $45 to spend elsewhere, which brings my cost down to $409.50 (10% off $455). Or you could see it as $405 given I paid $450 and still have $45 left.
Extra kicker is I managed to get the white one which was my preference. Technically JB Hifi price match on like-for-like items and EB Games only have the black ones. Your mileage may vary with this.
