Kmart Glass Flip Pickle Jar Recall

Anyone got one of these? The Anko Pickle Jars from Kmart are being recalled due to the design. Fermented food can build up gas and cause the jar to explode or make the lid difficult to remove. Anyway if you purchased on between 15 February 2023 and 3 March 2025, go in for a refund at Kmart with or without receipt.

The better ones have a valve on top and you can release it before trying to open it.. which is a lot safer!
