My 10yo has asked for a laptop for Christmas this year. He will be using it to play Roblox and Mincraft.
I don’t know much when it comes to technology so any advice would be appreciated.
Is there a certain sale I should wait for?
Anything I should stay away from?
I don’t want to spend a fortune but something that is capable of playing those games without lagging and struggling.

Dont buy a chromebook most schools on their booklist say they arent suitable for school. My kids needed a laptop from grade 7. In terms of security you can put whatever restrictions you want on it.
