Official Rules – CURRENT SPECIALS AUSTRALIA "REWARDS"

This is a Contribute and Earn program. By participating in this Current Specials Australia program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open only to all Australian residents aged 18 years and above.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Current Specials Australia, their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Immediate family refers to any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural birth or adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, or first cousin.
2.3 Associated members or staff of retailers are not eligible to participate.

HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To participate, contributors must register for an account. Additionally, participants must like and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages.

REWARDS
4.1 The reward is Australian gift cards of your choice. Participants can select their preferred store via the Withdraw form.
4.2 You must earn at least 20 points before being eligible to withdraw your reward. Point values are listed in the table below.
4.3 If the reward is not claimed within 180 days, it will be forfeited.
4.4 Rewards are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
4.5 If a reward item is unavailable, the promoter may provide a substitute of equal or greater value. Any taxes (except GST) are the responsibility of the participant.
4.6 By participating in the "Contribute and Earn" program, you agree to participate in any promotional activities, such as interviews or photographs, if requested.

HOW TO EARN
5.1 Contribute validated deals, topics or comments to the Current Specials Australia website. Instructions on how to post can be found here.
5.2 To be eligible, participants must like and follow our Instagram and Facebook pages. Contributors who complete this step and register their details according to clause 3 will qualify for the rewards program.
5.3 Rewards System: To encourage active participation, we have established a tiered rewards system. As you post validated deals, you can level up and earn more points:
- Rookie: Start by posting 5 deals to level up to Deal Hunter status.
- Deal Hunter: After reaching Deal Hunter status, you will earn 1 point for each deal posted.
- Deal Expert: Upon reaching Deal Expert status, you will earn 3 points for each deal posted.
5.4 Once you earn 20 points, you can choose to withdraw your points for gift cards or continue earning more.
5.5 All content submitted as part of this program becomes the rightful property of Current Specials Australia, including but not limited to deals, topics, and comments.
5.6 All decisions made by the Promoter regarding rewards are final, and no further correspondence will be entered into regarding these decisions.
5.7 What constitutes a validated contribution:
- Deals: Must be live on the retailer’s website, unique (not previously posted), and relevant.
- In-store deals: Photographs must show clear markdowns on labels or promotional signs.
- Discussion topics: Should relate to any of the available categories.
- Comments: Must be relevant and add value to the discussion.
5.8 You can only submit 5 deals per retailer per day. For example, you can post 5 deals from Coles and 5 deals from JB Hi-Fi in one day. Any deals beyond the 3-deal limit per day will not earn points.
5.9 Bonus points and deductions:
- 10 points for each post that gains 50 or more votes.
- 5 point (deduction) for spam.

COMMUNICATIONS
6.1 Entrants agree to receive separate communications from both Current Specials Australia and the promoter. However, entrant details will never be made available to any other parties. All other communications will contain an opt-out option.

NO LIABILITY
7.1 In the event of any external circumstances or events that prevent or significantly hinder the Promoter's ability to continue with the program as described, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, or acts of terrorism, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, cancel the program and restart it from the beginning under the same conditions, subject to State Legislation.
7.2 Current Specials Australia and its associated agencies and companies are not responsible for any rewards damaged or lost during delivery, or for late, lost, or misdirected mail.
7.3 Current Specials Australia and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any accident, injury, loss (including consequential loss), or claim that may occur:
7.3.1 During the reward distribution process;
7.3.2 While undertaking any travel associated with the program;
7.3.3 In connection with participation in any reward activities;
7.3.4 Due to late, lost, or misdirected mail;
7.3.5 As a result of broadcast or publication of any program-related material, including statements made by any involved party;
7.3.6 Due to technical problems or traffic congestion affecting the receipt of entries;
7.3.7 Arising from any technical malfunctions of communication networks related to participation in this program;
7.3.8 Due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
7.4 Current Specials Australia and its affiliates are not responsible for any errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays, or unauthorized access to entries, and reserve the right to take any necessary action.
7.5 If, for any reason, the program cannot be conducted as planned, including due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter that affect the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the program, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, modify, or suspend the program, subject to State Legislation.
