A story shared on Markdown Addicts Australia, thought I’d share it here
There were 6 of these on the shelf so I took them all and popped them into my shopping trolley.
I walked about 20 metres when a woman approached me stating that these had an expiry date of today and I had to cook them all today.
I thanked her and stated I was going to freeze them. She then said NO, you must cook them today, if not, put them back. I just walked off and she followed me repeating the same thing over and over, until I told her quite politely to “Nick OFF”She then went to a staff member and complained who must have told her if I took them first then they are mine, then she stormed out of the store leaving her shopping behind….
Some people seem to get so narky if someone else gets something for free or gets a bonus, or better deal than them..
