An insightful discussion.. is it worth bundling with AGL?
I would definately shop around to get the best deal…I have found that none of the bundle deals are better than if you shop around.
I have AGL Electricity and Gas and have been with them for years and are on their lowest plans….I have TPG for internet….and my mobile is pre-paid yearly with vodafone and works out to be around $12.50 per month and 250gig for the year or if you average it out you can use around 20gigs per month for a year without going over…..Unlimited calls and sms etc.
I will be switching from AGL Electricity to DODO as they can give me a better rate per kw and daily supply charge…..unless AGL are willing to match it which I doubt they will
My internet plan with TPG has been rolling over since 2018 and last year went up from $60 to $75 per month and also the upload speed was lowered….FTTB connection with 100mb down and 20mb up.(used to be 40mb up)..I havent been able to find a plan that can give me the same speed at the same price….unless its an opening offer at the same price for the first 6 months but then goes up to a higher price…..
Dependong on your ISP or if you have a VPN….there are streaming websites that have everything that Netflix has and more….including from American streaming services that arent available in Australia and they are completely “free”
You need decent antivirus and adblocker as some of the sites have pop-ups which have embedded malware etc in them. I know because I pay for Bitdefender and bitdefender VPN but got them cheap online, deals can be found on them on the same websites that sell windows activation keys for like $20.
