Anyone else notice Macca’s has absolutely cooked the rewards points system again? 😭
A large McCafé coffee is now 8500 points.
It used to be 5500… and before that, remember when ANY size coffee was like 2500 points? Those were the glory days.
Now you basically need to spend half your paycheck just to earn enough points for one coffee ☕💀
Smalls and mediums went up too, and heaps of other rewards have quietly increased as well. Feels like every app update they spin a wheel and randomly decide what points value to ruin next.
The worst part is you barely earn points in the first place unless you’re constantly buying meals. For people who mostly just grab coffees, it honestly makes the rewards feel kinda pointless now.
Still gonna use the app because I’m weak… but 8500 points for a coffee is wild.
