FYI for OnePass members – Kmart clearance items are no longer eligible for free delivery.
Can’t say I’m a fan of this one. A big part of the appeal of OnePass is being able to grab those random Kmart bargains online without having the delivery fee wipe out the saving.
I get that sending out a $1 or $2 clearance item probably makes zero sense for Kmart, especially when orders can be coming from different stores, but surely a minimum spend would have been the better way to handle it rather than just excluding clearance altogether.
Target has already been doing something similar for a while, and with Catch gone as well, OnePass definitely feels like it’s losing some of the value it originally had.
Will be interesting to see how this works when you have a mixed cart too – say $80 worth of normal stuff and one clearance item. Hopefully they don’t slug you delivery just because one bargain sneaks into the order 😅
I reckon a $15 or $20 minimum spend for clearance would have been a much fairer middle ground.
