You’ve probably already seen this in the headlines, but Subway Australia is officially shutting down its Subcard loyalty program.
If you’ve still got Reward Dollars sitting in your account, don’t forget to use them. They stopped letting members earn new Reward Dollars back on 30 June, but you can still redeem any existing balance until 31 August 2026. After that, any remaining Reward Dollars will expire.
If you have Gift Dollars instead, they can also be spent until 31 August. Any unused, valid Gift Dollar balances may be eligible for a refund after the program closes, subject to Subway’s refund process.
I’ve got to admit, I’m not too surprised to see this one go. Did anyone here actually use the Subcard regularly, or has it been sitting forgotten in the app?
